About Shula's Golf Club - Senator Course (Miami Lakes, FL)
The 18-hole Senator Course at Don Shula's Golf Club is one of those courses that just seems to get better as you play your way around. The first few holes are fairly open and not overly difficult. However, things start to get more difficult as you get through the middle of the front side. By the time you make it to the 11th green, you'll know that you're in for a real dogfight. The fairways on the back get tight and there's water on just about every hole. All in all, it's a very enjoyable course from start to finish.

the staff was phenomenal this year - very accomodating and appreciative of us being there. finally got rid of the grumpy bastard starter that used to sour our experience there!!! the Pros there are awesome as is the entire staff. wait a minute...if the folks in the grill room would work a little faster that would help. only critique. we'll be back next year!!!

it was a good way to start the week... we hadn't golfed in a few weeks so we lost a few... they comped us when we asked to play another 18.. that was cool... we ended up playing only another 9. that being said.... good course to walk to from your room .. not to mention the excellent steak house .. top 5 steak in my life.. closed on Sun , and Monday.. for the record.,

Enjoyed the course very much although it was quite windy which obviously is not the fault of the golf course or staff! Would definitely play the course again.
