If you've ever played golf in Miami, you might remember Bayshore, the local municipal course. If so, you'll never believe what now rests on the same property. The City of Miami Beach has done an incredible job transforming the old Bayshore into Miami Beach Golf Club. They brought in Arthur Hills and Steve Forrest and Associates to completely redesign the entire site. Lakes were drained, irrigation systems replaced; they even built a new clubhouse. The results are simply fantastic!

we got lucky.. teamed up with some fellow Canadians.. by the end of the round it was like we were friends for life... so that made it fun.. I liked how the holes on the back nine come into the heart of Miami Beach and makes you feel like you have an audience.. busy streets.. condos.. it was cool.. it was also cool outdriving the guys in my group over the big pond on I think 16.. they all went splash.. I hit the bunker.. pin high.. the old guy prevails.. we were thinking about buying something in the shop but we both felt the guy said something out of line .. so we opted not to... don't judge a book by its cover.. I guess you aren't suppose to ask prices in MIAMI BEACH... Doral didn't seem to mind..

This was the best course we played. The fairways were great and consistent. The greens rolled very nicely and were fast. I would definitely play here again.
